Use this fall matching activity as a file folder activity, work task activity, to support literacy, or to reinforce fall vocabulary words in your preschool or special education classroom. Match picture to picture, photo to photo, picture to photo, or picture to words.

Directions: Print and laminate fall pictures and words. Glue one set of pictures to a file folder. Cut the other pictures and words to match. You can match based on the child’s ability. If they are in the beginning stages of matching, you will match the pictures that are the same. If they are able to go beyond matching pictures that are the same, try matching pictures to photos or pictures to words. You can also use pictures for identifying vocabulary words.
