Use this simple matching back to school activity for your preschool or special education class. Match picture to picture, picture to photo, and photo to photo of school supplies. Use as a file folder or work task activity.

Directions: Print and laminate school supply pictures and words. Glue one set of supplies to a file folder. Cut the other pictures and words to match to the supplies. You can match based on the child’s ability. If they are in the beginning stages of matching, you will match the pictures that are the same. If they are able to go beyond matching pictures that are the same, try matching pictures to photos or pictures to words. You can also use pictures for identifying vocabulary words.
