Reinforce shapes matching, sorting, and identification using these shape picture cards. Make learning fun with sensory bins! Fill bins with pictures cards or objects and match to the corresponding matching mat.
Directions:
•Laminate shape cards, shape matching mats, & shape sorting mats
•Fill a small bin with sensory items such as sand, rice, pasta, beans, or any fun sensory materials.
Activities:
•Hide shape cards in the sensory bin
•Have your students pull a card from the sensory bin, label what shape it is, and match it to the shape mat.
•Have your students pull a card from the sensory bin, label what shape it is, and sort the shapes onto the sorting mat.
•Hide different shape objects in the sensory bins & have students pull out the objects and match them to the shape mat.
